TSSSA actively promote sporting opportunities for Taranaki Secondary School students.

TSSSA are passionate about youth being engaged in sports for life and believes that quality school sports experiences are vital to the development of our young people. 

The TSSSA Program aims to encourage participation and offer barrier-free sporting opportunities that are both relevant and reflective of student's voice.

In 2024 there are 44 scheduled secondary school sports events and 11 all-ability events.
